Ned Buddy

Ned Buddy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and environmental leadership. Currently serving as a Computer Consultant at UNC Wilmington since October 2012, Ned provides technical support and project management to faculty and staff. Alongside this role, Ned has been the President and Chairman of Antilles Plastic Project, Inc. since October 2018, focusing on addressing plastic pollution in marine environments. Previous positions include Director of Partnership Development at The Plastic Ocean Project from October 2017 to September 2018 and serving as President and Secretary at the same organization from June 2014 to November 2015. Earlier in his career, Ned was the owner of PC-Buddy Computer Services and the Chief Information Officer at Theofinance PLC. Ned holds a BA in Political Science from The George Washington University, supplemented by studies at the University of Exeter.
