Olson David

Olson David serves as the Director of Physical Plant at UNC Wilmington since June 2012, leading a team of 200 employees in the maintenance and operations of various trades while focusing on energy conservation and resource allocation. Prior to this role, Olson held the position of Assistant Director of the Physical Plant, managing a budget of $1.4 million and overseeing operations across multiple areas. Experience also includes roles as a Consulting Engineer/Construction Administrator at CBHF Engineers PLLC and Project Manager at UNC Wilmington, where responsibilities encompassed engineering project management from conception to completion. Olson's career commenced at Weaver Cooke Construction as a Field Superintendent overseeing significant projects, including the Seahawk Village Student Apartments. Olson holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University.
