Ray Pastore

Ray Pastore, Ph.D., is a seasoned academic and professional in instructional technology, currently serving as a Professor and Program Lead for the Esports Certificates and Online Teaching and Learning Minor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since July 2010. Pastore's contributions to the field include significant program development, such as the creation of the Esports Certificate Program, the Online Teaching and Learning Minor, and the Grad Certificate in Instructional Multimedia Development. With a diverse background that encompasses founding roles at Parallel Designs, LLC, and Carefree Organics, as well as various teaching positions at institutions such as Slippery Rock University and Penn State University, Pastore has expertise in multimedia design, game development, and instructional assessment. Education credentials include a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems from Penn State University, along with both Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Instructional Technology and Political Science, respectively.
