Robert Burrus

Robert Burrus currently holds the position of Dean and Professor of Economics at the Cameron School of Business at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a role that began in 1998. Burrus has also served as Associate Dean, Dean of Students, and Department Chair at the same institution. In 2014, Burrus assumed the role of Interim Dean for a year. Prior to this, Burrus was a Visiting Professor at Kenyon College from 1996 to 1998. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Economics from the University of Virginia, obtained between 1990 and 1997, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics from Wake Forest University, completed from 1986 to 1990.
