Ryan Estes

Ryan Estes, MBA, LCSW, LCAS, CCS, serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Coastal Horizons since January 2023, focusing on data-driven operations to enhance clinical outcomes within a nonprofit addressing social justice, mental health, and substance use. In addition to this role, Ryan is a Child and Family Fellow with the Annie E. Casey Foundation and an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Previously, Ryan held the position of Chief of Clinical Innovation and Technology at SAFY of America and was the Treatment Operations Director at Coastal Horizons Center, overseeing significant revenue growth. Ryan’s early career includes a tenure as Program Director at Eckerd Youth Alternatives. Academically, Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Wake Forest University, a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an MBA in Health Care Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
