Sharon Norris is an experienced nursing professional and educator currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since August 2023. With a long-standing role as a Staff Registered Nurse and Lactation Consultant at New Hanover Regional Medical Center since June 2011, Sharon has extensive clinical experience. Prior to the current position, Sharon was a Professor of Nursing at Cape Fear Community College from January 2018 to September 2023. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Nursing Practice, a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education, and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, as well as an Associate Degree in Nursing from Cape Fear Community College.
