Tamara Walser

Tamara Walser is a seasoned academic and professional with extensive experience in education and evaluation. Since August 2006, Tamara has served as a Professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where coordination of the M.S. program is a key responsibility. Prior to this role, Tamara worked as a Project Manager and Evaluation Specialist at Windwalker Group from September 2003 to June 2006, overseeing federal evaluation contracts and supervising teams. Tamara's expertise in program evaluation was further established at the University of Washington as a Program Evaluator from March 2002 to September 2003, where evaluations of grant-funded programs and development of grant proposals were primary tasks. Earlier in Tamara's career, positions included Assessment Specialist at Committee for Children and Assistant Professor at Washington State University, where involvement in curriculum assessments and the Assessment & Evaluation Center took place. Tamara holds a PhD in Research & Evaluation and an MS in Instructional Design & Development from Utah State University.
