Thomas Potts

Thomas Potts is an accomplished professional with over 30 years of experience in marine science, habitat operations, and education. Currently serving as Associate Director of Habitat Operations at DEEP and an AI Trainer at Outlier, Potts utilizes strategic planning and stakeholder engagement skills honed from previous roles including Associate Director of Research at Aquarius Reef Base and Program Director for NOAA's National Undersea Research Center. As an Adjunct Faculty member at UNC Wilmington, Potts focuses on coral reef ecology and marine conservation. Potts holds a Master’s degree in Marine Biology and an Executive Business Certificate from the University of Notre Dame.
