Tim McClain

Tim McClain is a seasoned professional in fundraising and development with extensive experience in major, planned, and annual gift fundraising. Currently serving as the Director of Legacy Gift Planning at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington since January 2019, Tim has held key leadership positions including Executive Director at the SC Governor's School of the Arts Foundation and Director of Development at Mars Hill University. Tim's career also includes roles focused on major gifts at Asheville School and UNC Asheville, as well as experience as Associate Director of the Penn State Annual Fund. Tim's educational background includes a Bachelor's of Science in Human Resources from Geneva College and studies at Indiana University Bloomington. Prior to these roles, Tim held positions in property management and personnel management in the United States Air Force.
