Eugene Vega

Eugene Vega currently serves as an Electrical Transmission and Distribution / Gas Transmission and Distribution – Safety Inspector at Underground Construction Co., Inc. since July 2023. With a comprehensive background in safety management and project oversight, Eugene has previously held positions such as Environment, Health and Safety Manager at SME Steel and Safety Specialist and Project Manager at TRC Companies, Inc. Significant accomplishments include the creation of the Job Site Safety Analysis for PG&E and development of safety programs that achieved high corporate audit scores. Eugene has extensive experience in conducting safety training, overseeing compliance with safety regulations, and enhancing operational safety awareness across various organizations. Eugene is pursuing a degree in Industrial Health and Safety at Taft College, building on a foundation in Safety & Risk Management from California State University, Bakersfield.
