Heather Arbeen

Heather Arbeen has extensive experience in community support and information dissemination, particularly within the realm of special education. Since June 2017, Heather has served as a Community Support Contractor at Understood.org, providing parent support in moderated forums. Prior to this role, Heather worked as an Information Dissemination Contractor at the Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center for a brief period, where responsibilities included managing social media accounts. From September 2012 to June 2017, Heather held the position of Senior Information Specialist and Training Coordinator at PEATC, delivering resources and training to various stakeholders, while also overseeing content management for publications and social media. Heather holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor's degree in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University.
