Scott Cocchiere has a diverse work experience in the creative and marketing industry. Scott currently serves as the Executive Creative Director at Understood.org, where they lead and inspires a creative team to deliver impactful work. Scott also co-leads the Understood Podcast Network, overseeing the development and execution of podcasts.

Before joining Understood.org and NWF Ventures as a Partner in 2018, Scott held various leadership positions at different companies. Scott was the EVP, Executive Creative Director at Citizen Relations, where they transformed the agency's creative offering and implemented a new team paradigm. Prior to that, they served as the SVP, Executive Creative Director at Cohn & Wolfe, expanding the agency's content strategy and leading a team of creatives across different platforms.

Scott's previous roles include SVP, Creative Director at Emanate PR, Creative Director at Match Marketing Group, and Creative Director at Geometry - North America (formerly OgilvyAction). Scott also worked as an Associate Creative Director at Einson Freeman and as a Group Art Supervisor at Integrated Communications. Scott started their career as a Creative Group Head at DVC Worldwide.

Throughout their career, Scott has demonstrated a passion for creative concepts and integrated marketing strategies, driving engagement and action with target audiences.

Scott Cocchiere attended Bergen Catholic High School from 1989 to 1992. After completing high school, they enrolled in the University of Michigan, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. Scott attended the University of Michigan from 1992 to 1996. Later, in 2010, Scott attended Hyper Island for a Master Class, although the field of study is not specified.
