Michael Cobb

Michael Cobb has extensive experience in firefighting, emergency response, and technical support. Currently serving as a Wildland Reserve Firefighter for Salida Fire Protection District since May 2018, Michael has previously held positions such as Wildland Firefighter with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Firefighter/EMT/Engine Boss with Black Forest Fire/Rescue. Additional experience includes roles as an SSI and PADI Assistant Instructor at Underwater Connection Inc. and as an ownership partner at Vertical Fitness, Inc. Michael's technical background includes serving as a Professional Services Consultant for Verizon Business and a Sr. Systems Engineer with Computer Horizons, after starting as a Computer Programmer at NAVCO. Michael holds an Associate of Science degree in Computer Programming from Bay Valley Technical Institute.
