Colin Dowd has over 8 years of work experience. In 2012, they began their career as an Accounting Intern for Accounts Management, where they worked on taxes for local businesses, budgeting and investment planning. In 2013, they became a Sales and Marketing Intern for Select Technology, Inc., where they created an e-commerce model to sell board level components. In 2014, they were a HW/SW Recruiter for Zoom Technical Services, Inc., managing a base of hard working engineers. In 2015, they were a Sales Development Representative for Zerto, providing enterprise-class business continuity and disaster recovery solutions. In 2016, they became an Inside Sales Team Lead (West) and Inside Account Representative - Team Lead - Texas and Louisiana for Zerto. In 2018, they were an Enterprise Account Executive for Infinio Systems. Finally, in 2019, they were an Enterprise Account Executive for Backtrace I/O, and in 2022 they became the Director of Sales North America for Undo IO, a time travel debugger for linux, java and C++ applications.

Colin Dowd attended Suffield Academy from 2006 to 2010, where they studied Business. Colin then went on to Endicott College, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Business Administration, Management and Operations in 2014.
