Alejandro Marti, PhD, is the CEO and Co-Founder of Mitiga Solutions, which focuses on evaluating and mitigating the impact of natural hazards. Currently serving as an International Expert for the UNDP in severe convective storms and as the Chairman for two UN-ITU groups on AI related to natural hazards and climate applications, Alejandro advocates for integrating AI into climate risk management. With extensive experience in data science and environmental engineering, Alejandro's previous roles include Senior Data, Research and Policy Project Lead for the State of New Jersey and a Climate Researcher at the University of Exeter. Alejandro holds multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
