Andy McDevitt

Andy McDevitt is an experienced independent research and learning consultant, specializing in the design of research tools, policy analysis, and programmatic learning to support governance and anti-corruption reforms globally since January 2017. Current roles include Senior Associate Consultant at GIST Research Ltd, Expert Reviewer and Independent Monitor for the Open Government Partnership, and Research Analyst for UNDP focusing on private sector due diligence. Previously, Andy served as a Senior Research Consultant at Integrity Watch Afghanistan, where significant contributions included leading assessments and national surveys on corruption. Earlier experience encompasses roles at Transparency International and the Institute of Development Studies, emphasizing expertise in research coordination and policy analysis for international aid donors. Andy's academic background includes a Master's in Environment and Development from The University of Edinburgh and an MA in Hispanic Studies from the University of Glasgow.
