Anna Spenceley is a recognized expert in sustainable and responsible tourism, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Seychelles Islands Foundation since February 2022 and as a Member of UNDP's vetted Rosters of Experts focused on biodiversity and sustainable land management. With a career as an independent consultant since June 1999, Anna specializes in biodiversity conservation, protected areas, and public-private partnerships. Additionally, Anna holds various leadership roles, including Chair of the Independent Advisory Group for Travalyst and former Chair of the IUCN WCPA Tourism and Protected Areas Specialist Group. Academic achievements include a Master’s in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, a PhD in Sustainable Tourism from the University of Greenwich, and postdoctoral research fellowships in Sustainable Tourism.
