Bernard Tembo, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science, climate change, environmental policy, and energy economics. Currently serving as an Associate at Outsmart Insight and Co-Founder of Tec Analytics, Bernard also contributes as a member of expert groups for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and UNDP. Previous roles include Research Fellow at the Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research, Energy Specialist at the World Bank Group, and various academic positions at University College London. Bernard holds a PhD in Energy Systems and Economics from UCL and has a strong educational background in mechanical engineering and sustainable energy engineering.
