Ghida Ismail

Ghida Ismail is a Policy and Research Specialist at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), focusing on people-centered development strategies through data and evidence. With a background in diverse social and economic issues across the Middle East, East Africa, and South Asia, Ghida has contributed to research on topics such as social protections for informal workers and urban mobility. Previously, they served as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, and as a Research Consultant at Nudge Lebanon, where they evaluated behavioral interventions with various stakeholders. Ghida holds a Master's in Global Policy Analysis from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
