Greg Soneff

Greg Soneff is an experienced procurement professional currently serving as the Chief of Procurement Oversight and Compliance at UNDP since December 2010, where responsibilities include leading the Global Health Procurement Team and managing procurement strategies related to health commodities and services. Notable accomplishments include developing UNDP’s procurement strategy, managing procurement services exceeding $60 million annually, and establishing formal agreements based on a cost-recovery model. Prior to UNDP, Greg held roles at A.P. Moller - Maersk Group as General Manager of Group Talent Management and General Manager of Strategic Sourcing, where achievements included implementing a global talent identification process and managing significant sourcing projects that delivered substantial cost savings. Additional experience encompasses procurement advisory roles for UNDP/IAPSO and energy procurement analysis at Solution 105 Consulting Ltd. Greg holds a Master's Degree in International Business Economics from Aalborg University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Business and Economics from the University of Alberta.
