John MacAuley

John Macauley serves as the Community Manager for HIV and Health at UNDP since October 2022. Prior to this role, John was the Regional HIV, Health and Development Programme Specialist at UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub from March 2014 to October 2022, where responsibilities included supporting the integration of HIV and health equity into national frameworks, implementing gender-sensitive approaches, and advocating for policy development. John contributed to multi-sectoral strategies addressing non-communicable diseases and supported sustainable financing for HIV responses through capacity building and resource mobilization. John holds a Master's degree in Economic Management with a specialization in European Integration from Fakulta Managementu Univerzity Komenskeho, obtained between 2000 and 2002.
