John Rutere

John Rutere, MBA, CPA, CFA, is an enthusiastic and trusted professional with over 20 years of experience in financial and advisory services and international development. They currently serve as the Head of Finance and Management Services at the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) in New York, following a role as Chief of Financial Performance Management at UNDP from 2014 to 2021. John has also held significant positions in various global organizations, including Vice President at GE Capital Corporation and an Investment Banking Associate at Bear Stearns. They are a member of the Supervisory Committee at UNFCU and began their career in advisory services with PricewaterhouseCoopers. John earned an MBA with distinction in Corporate Finance from Cornell University.
