Lars Tushuizen

Deputy Country Director

Lars Tushuizen is the Deputy Director at UNDP, bringing twenty years of experience in international development focused on program development, operations management, and organizational change management. Lars has contributed significantly to enhancing program effectiveness and efficiency across Africa, Asia, and UN headquarters. Prior to the current role, Lars served as the Chief of the Country Business Strategy branch at the UN Development Cooperation Office, where they led a global strategy advisory team and developed new business models. Lars previously held positions at KPMG, where they provided advisory services related to change management and corporate strategy. Lars holds a Master of Science in Development Economics Information Management from the University of Amsterdam and a Post Graduate Certification in Strategy & Internal Control.
