Lucy Wanjiru

Lucy Wanjiru is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in partnerships, gender, environment, and climate change. Currently serving as a Partnerships Specialist at UNDP, Lucy focuses on advancing strategic partnerships for the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Previous roles include Programme Specialist for the UNDP Gender Team, where contributions included policy advice and strengthening collaborations in the areas of gender and environment. Lucy's background also encompasses advocacy for climate change policies in various countries, technical consultancy on water resource management in Kenya, and community mobilization initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Sustainability Studies and a degree in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Moi University.
