Mark Eddo

Mark Eddo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in consultancy and communications, particularly focused on Africa. Currently serving as Lead Consultant for UNDP since January 2019, Eddo also founded Mark Eddo Media in September 2009, which specializes in international communications and business consultancy. Eddo has held advisory roles, including membership on the Advisory Board of the Norwegian African Business Association since January 2013. Previous notable positions include Lead Consultant at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and the African Union, where Eddo played significant roles in advancing humanitarian efforts and promoting the African Continental Free Trade Area. Eddo's background in media includes senior roles at ITV News and BBC News as a correspondent and presenter. Eddo holds degrees in Information Studies, Publishing & Media from the University of West London and the University of Westminster.
