Olin Thakur

Olin Thakur is a seasoned consultant and co-founder of the Independent Consulting Group, specializing in strategic management and interim executive leadership for clients, particularly in the areas of strategic planning, project evaluation, and technology policy. With experience spanning various roles, Olin serves as a Regional Funding Steering Committee Member for Thrive Philanthropy, a Fellow at the Center for AI Safety focusing on ethics and governance, and a member of the UNDP Crisis Response Bureau as a technical expert. Previous positions include leadership roles at World Education Australia, Diplomacy & Development Review Forum, and as Head of Programmes at Sankalpa. Olin holds multiple master's degrees in Business Administration and Sociology from Tribhuvan University, along with a background in modern diplomacy from the United Nations University.
