Sergio Vasarri has engaged in research and teaching since 2001 for various Italian universities, including the University of Bologna and La Sapienza University of Rome, as well as international institutions such as the University of Malta. They serve as an expert consultant focusing on public policy analysis, European funds, and multi-level governance for organizations like the UN and the European Union. Currently, Vasarri is involved with the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers on the programming and management of the PNRR Recovery Fund. They are also a founder of the Academy of Political Studies “Vilfredo Pareto” and participate in national and international conferences to share their expertise. Vasarri continues to pursue education in Law at the University of Siena and at Leiden University.
