Simbotwe Mwiya is currently the Regional Project Manager for the Pacific Green Transformation Project at UNDP in Bangkok, Thailand. With extensive experience in natural resource management, Simbotwe has held positions such as Community Based Natural Resources Management Expert and Field Project Officer for various organizations, including USAID and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature. Previously, Simbotwe managed projects focusing on sustainable fisheries and wildlife conservation in Africa and served as a National Project Manager for UNDP in Zambia. Simbotwe holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Zambia and a Master's degree in Rural and Land Ecology Survey from the International Institute for Geo-information Science and Earth Observation in the Netherlands.
