Simone Santos

Simone Santos is an experienced professional in sustainability and information management, currently serving as an Information Management Analyst at UNDP since June 2022. Previously, Simone held the position of Information Management Specialist (UNV) at UNDP and was a Program Manager at Sustainable Kingston, where technical and project management skills were applied to support over 40 business members in strategic sustainability initiatives. Simone also worked as a Sustainability Manager for the Organising Committee for the Rio 2016™ Olympic and Paralympic Games, focusing on sustainability policies and achieving ISO 20121 certification. Early career experience includes a role as Sustainability Consultant Coordinator at Sustentech, where Simone contributed to obtaining numerous LEED certificates. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Environmental Management and a Bachelor of Architecture, complemented by a Diploma in Business Marketing and ongoing studies at the University of Buenos Aires.
