Skye Christensen

Skye Christensen is an accomplished international development professional with extensive experience in governance, electoral systems, and capacity building. Currently serving as Chief Technical Advisor at UNDP since May 2024, Christensen has held multiple leadership roles within UNDP, notably leading the largest UN governance project in Pakistan with an annual budget of $10 million and mobilizing $25 million in funding. Previous positions include Deputy Team Leader at Tetra Tech and various roles as an independent consultant focused on electoral assistance across 12 countries. Christensen's expertise also extends to global advisory work with UN Women and IFES, enhancing electoral processes and governance frameworks. Educational qualifications include a BA in International Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MS in Political Science from Uppsala University.
