Stanislav Kim currently serves as the Senior Advisor on Disaster Risk Reduction for Asia and the Pacific and Team Leader at the Bangkok Regional Hub of UNDP, where the Disaster Resilience Cluster is led to enhance regional initiatives and partnerships for disaster resilience. With extensive experience in the field, Stanislav has also been the Climate and Disaster Resilience Cluster Lead and Regional DRR Advisor at the Istanbul Regional Hub, providing strategic support to multiple countries in Europe and Central Asia. Previous roles include Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist, Head of the Energy and Environment Department in Kazakhstan, and National Coordinator for the Global Environmental Facility Small Grants Programme. Stanislav holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
