Thomas Legrand

Thomas Legrand serves as the Lead Technical Advisor for the Conscious Food Systems Alliance at UNDP since September 2020, focusing on sustainability in food and agricultural systems. As an Independent Consultant since December 2009, Thomas has contributed to various projects for UNDP, UNEP, and the African Development Bank, including technical support for REDD+ initiatives, climate finance, and organizational development. Previous roles include Coordinator for the Forest Investment Program at the African Development Bank and Supervising Senior at Eurogroup Consulting. Thomas holds a doctorate in ecological economics from UVSQ and master's and bachelor's degrees in development studies and management from Sciences Po and Université Paris Dauphine, respectively.
