Veronica Kalema is currently serving as the UNDP Concilium Advisor on African Credit Ratings, a role they commenced in 2024. They previously held the position of Head of Africa Credit Strategy at Nedbank Capital from 2011 to 2015, focusing on business opportunities and credit analysis across Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to that, Veronica worked as a Sovereign Analyst at Fitch Ratings from 2001 to 2011, specializing in emerging market credits with an emphasis on Africa. Veronica holds a PhD in Economics from London Business School, where they also earned an MBA, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University.
