Youngchan KIM

Youngchan Kim is a Policy Specialist and Team Lead for the Governance and Gender Portfolio at the UNDP Seoul Policy Centre, where they lead initiatives focused on governance and gender. They collaborate with UNDP's Global Policy Network and partners in the Republic of Korea to manage flagship SDG Partnership projects, engaging with over 10 UNDP Country Offices worldwide. Prior to this role, Youngchan served as a Parliament Engagement Consultant at the World Health Organization and as Governance Team Leader at UNDP Timor-Leste, where they managed numerous projects on good governance. With a robust academic background, Youngchan holds an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University and an M.A. in International Affairs and Governance from the University of St. Gallen.
