Carlos Rontomé

Carlos Rontomé is the current Director of the UNED Ceuta University Center, a role they have held since 2023. They previously served as the Councillor of Education and Culture and Deputy of the Assembly of Ceuta from 2019 to 2023. Rontomé has directed numerous sociological studies on Ceuta and Melilla, focusing on living conditions, drug consumption, and youth issues. They have also contributed academically in the fields of intercultural relations and Islamic minority integration. Their educational background includes a doctorate in Political Science and Sociology from UNED, awarded cum laude.
