Carlos Vidal

Carlos Vidal is a Catedrático de Derecho Constitucional at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) in Spain, where they have been teaching since 1997 and currently serve as the Director of the Department of Constitutional Law. They have held the position of Vocal de la Junta Electoral Central since 2017, having been re-elected four times. An academic corresponding member of the Real Academia de Jurisprudencia y Legislación, Vidal has conducted research at various international universities and authored eleven books, over 150 articles, and coordinated multiple collective works primarily focused on constitutional law. Additionally, they served as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Director of the Gabinete at the Ministerio de Sanidad, Servicios Sociales e Igualdad from 2015 to 2016.
