Mario Pena

Mario Pena serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Education at UNED, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to this, Mario held various positions at UNED from 2007 to 2012, including Deputy Secretary of the Faculty of Education and Director of UNIDIS, the Center for University Students with Disabilities. Mario has also contributed as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education and as the Coordinator of the Master's in Professional Orientation. In terms of education, Mario completed their studies in Psychology at UNED and earned a Licenciatura in Psychopedagogy from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, where they received an extraordinary award at graduation. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) at UNED, recognized with an extraordinary award for doctoral studies.
