Caroline Fleming

Caroline Fleming is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation strategy and business incubation, currently serving as the Director of the Surrey Innovation District at the University of Surrey since October 2016. In this role, Caroline focuses on fostering knowledge exchange and business growth among companies in the Surrey Research Park, while also leading the incubation efforts for high-growth technical startups. Additional roles include being a Board Director for UKSPA and SETsquared Partnership, as well as consulting for UNESCO on incubation strategies. Caroline's background includes significant positions at The Carbon Trust, where innovation and commercialization of low carbon technologies were prioritized, and at AEA Technology as a Senior Consultant in energy services. Caroline holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester and a diploma in Applied Management from Warwick Business School.
