Daphnée Blanc

Daphnée Blanc is a seasoned professional in health and education with extensive experience in project management and advocacy. As a Regional Project Officer at UNESCO since March 2022, Daphnée oversees the O3 PLUS programme, focusing on positive health and education outcomes for young people across Eastern and Southern Africa. Previously, Daphnée served as a Project Manager for the International AIDS Society, leading the CIPHER initiative aimed at enhancing paediatric HIV research. Daphnée's experience also includes roles at Save the Children International, where advocacy efforts were directed at Child Protection and Child Rights Governance, and research coordination at the University of Oxford's Sinovuyo Teen programme. Daphnée began a career in community health policy development during an internship with the World Health Organization. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Geneva.
