Dele Ogunseitan is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in environmental health and policy. Currently serving as Executive Editor at Environment Magazine and Distinguished Professor in the Department of Population Health and Disease Prevention at UC Irvine, Ogunseitan also plays significant roles as an Expert with UNESCO's Inclusive Policy Lab and Co-Chair of the Apple Green Chemistry Advisory Board. With additional positions including Specialty Chief Editor for Toxicology, Pollution and the Environment at Frontiers, Member of the Hoover Medal Board for AIME, Advisor for Training and Empowerment at USAID, and Director of Workforce Development for UC Irvine Institute for Translational Science, Ogunseitan is deeply involved in advancing solutions to global health and environmental challenges. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from UC Berkeley and a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee, along with a Master's and Bachelor's in Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University.
