Ella McElroy is an accomplished intern currently at UNESCO since January 2020, with prior experience in various research and administrative roles. McElroy served as a Research Assistant Intern at The Wilson Center, where collaboration with Wilson Center Fellow Joseph Cassidy focused on the international refugee regime, and provided research support for Fellow Audrey Altstadt regarding human rights and democracy in the Caucasus region. Previously, McElroy worked as a Staff Assistant Intern at The Wilson Center, responsible for recruiting and managing a large number of interns, and assisted with the annual Fellowship Competition. Earlier experience includes a Research Analyst internship at iMapData Inc., specializing in geospatial data analysis and database management. McElroy holds a Master's degree in International Security from Sciences Po and dual Bachelor's degrees in Global Affairs and Geography/GIS from George Mason University.
