Feng Jing is currently the Chief of the Culture Unit at UNESCO Bangkok, where they direct the implementation of the 1972 World Heritage Convention in the Asia and Pacific region involving 47 Member States. They have extensive experience in heritage conservation and international collaboration, having served as a Senior Programme Specialist at the Ministry of Education of China from 1989 to 1997 and as a member of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre since 1997. Feng holds a PhD in Conservation History of Cultural Heritage from Tsinghua University, and has published numerous articles and several publications focused on World Heritage and UNESCO cultural cooperation programmes.
