Ge Smit

Ge Smit is a Dutch artist and senior lecturer currently active in roles that encompass design and workshop facilitation, officially beginning a position at "go other directions" in January 2024. With extensive experience since September 2018 as a senior creative intern at N=5 Amsterdam, and also serving at KesselsKramer since June 2018, Ge has contributed to both multidisciplinary communications and independent creative agencies. In addition, as a board member of Playgrounds, Ge focuses on enhancing connections within the moving image industry. Further involvement includes a long-standing role as a guest senior lecturer at Apeejay University in India, co-founding the organization "whynotcooperation," and working as a senior creative consultant at Avans Innovative Studio. Education was completed at AvK St. Joost, culminating in a degree in public relations in 1974. Ge Smit's diverse expertise encompasses academia, creative consultancy, and innovative design.
