Jonathan Craig

Jonathan Craig is a highly experienced professional in the field of geology, currently serving as the Head of Exploration Strategies, Studies and Professional Areas at Eni, a position held since 2001. In this role, Jonathan oversees global exploration strategy, strategic studies, and external geoscience relations from the Eni Head Office in Milan. Additional leadership roles include serving as Vice President & Strategic Exploration Advisor and various significant positions at Eni and LASMO INTERNATIONAL LIMITED. Jonathan is also active in academia as an Honorary Professor at multiple universities, including Durham University and UCL, and is a Council Member on the UNESCO-IGUS IGCP Scientific Board. Jonathan holds a PhD in Field Geology from Aberystwyth University and a BSc in Geology and Geography from the University of Nottingham, and has been President of the Europe Region for the American Association of Petroleum Geologists since 2015.
