Luc Ria is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in teacher training and development. Since June 2018, Luc has been involved with L'Organisation des Nations unies pour l’éducation, la science et la culture, focusing on the design of professional development spaces for teachers to enhance student learning and their professional fulfillment. At the Institut Français de l'Éducation, Luc has contributed to the NéopassSup and Néopass@ction video training platforms while leading collaborative initiatives for training in priority education across the Île-de-France academies. Luc has served as the Director of the Institut Français de l'Éducation at École normale supérieure de Lyon since 2012, fostering dialogue between research and educational practice. Luc's leadership extends to international recognition as well, having been appointed President of the jury for the UNESCO-Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum prize in 2018. The educational background includes an Habilitation à diriger des recherches in human sciences from Université Clermont Auvergne.
