Patrick Ray

Patrick Ray is an Associate Professor of Environmental Engineering at the University of Cincinnati and holds the UNESCO Chair on Water and Climate Change. They specialize in the development and application of numerical models for integrated hydro-economic systems aimed at risk management under climate uncertainty. Patrick was the lead author of the World Bank's 2015 decision tree for confronting climate uncertainty and has contributed significantly to various international climate change assessments and guidelines. They have served as an expert consultant for numerous global organizations—and their current work focuses on advancing climate resilience and adaptation strategies in water resource management.
