Will Prentice is a seasoned professional in audio preservation and digitization, currently serving at Phonogrammarchiv, Austrian Academy of Sciences since November 2022. Will Prentice is also a member of the UK Memory of the World Committee at UNESCO since October 2021 and holds the position of Trustee at the EMI Archive Trust since April 2018. Previously, an extensive tenure at The British Library spanned from September 1999 to November 2022, where Will Prentice held multiple roles including Training and Dissemination Manager, Head of Technical Services, Training Co-ordinator, Audio Engineer, and Cylinder Transfer Engineer. Will Prentice earned a Master of Music in Ethnomusicology from Goldsmiths, University of London (1997-1999) and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music from the University of Sussex (1993-1996).
