Jon Odegard

Jon Odegard is an experienced leader in international humanitarian engagement with over 20 years dedicated to resource mobilization, strategic planning, and private sector partnerships. With 18 years at the United Nations, Jon has worked in various roles across program management and emergency response in locations such as Geneva, Oslo, Bangkok, and Copenhagen, as well as critical missions in Ethiopia, Somalia, and Ukraine. Currently, Jon leads strategic and financial management for UNHCR’s Global Private Sector Partnership Service, aligning private sector engagement with UNHCR’s mission. Jon's background includes corporate experience with ABB and Compass Group, and they hold a Master’s in International Business Economics from the University of Aalborg.
