Michael Frei

Michael Frei is currently the Group Controller at Unic, where they manage group sales, cost budgeting, and financial reporting. Prior to this role, Michael served as an IT Finance Controller at Sulzer, focusing on monthly closing and budgeting processes, and as a Controller in Group Accounting, where they handled external reporting and consolidated financial statements. Michael also has experience as a Junior Controller at Sulzer Ltd, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. They hold a Master in Business Administration from the University of Lucerne and a Swiss Certified Expert in Accounting and Controlling from Controller Akademie AG. Michael is currently pursuing a CAS in Sustainable Controlling & ESG Investing at HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich.
