Torben Bender is the CEO of Copenhagen Infrastructure Capital (CI Capital), a position held since 2024. They previously served as CEO and country managing partner at EY Denmark from 2018 to 2024, and have extensive experience as a partner at KPMG and EY. Torben began their career in the Royal Danish Airforce as a lieutenant from 1986 to 1988 and became a state-authorized public accountant in 1997. They also contribute as a board member for UNICEF Danmark and have held various board positions, including with DI Rådgiverne and the Board Leadership Society in Denmark. Torben earned a Master of Science in Business Economics and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School.
